A for Appreciation - Blogging from A to Z Challenge

blooming in the garden
waiting for appreciation
-the rose shrivels

blooming in the garden
children lost in their world
with echoing laughter

waiting for appreciation
she looked up shyly
into indifferent eyes

the rose shrivels
then looked at the beauty within
the bloom returns

This is the first time I have taken up the 'Blogging from A to Z Challenge'. I don't really have a theme. I just know I would be writing poems...

  10. We're often told to serve others without expecting anything back, but even a tiny dose of appreciation can do magic!
